The goalkeeper joined Woking in February 2023, initially to provide competition for long-time number one Craig Ross, before becoming first-choice later that month and starting 14 of the club's final 15 fixtures of the season. His efforts helped the Cards secure a fourth-place finish in the National League and qualification for the end of season play-offs for the first time in the club's history at that level. He was rewarded with a new one-year contract at the end of the season.
The Finnish youth international has Football League experience, most notably with Crewe Alexandra, where he made close to 100 first-team appearances. He played 35 league games as Crewe won promotion from League Two at the end of the 2019/20 season, finishing as runners-up, and made a further 45 league appearances across the next two seasons in the third tier. He moved to AFC Wimbledon in the summer of 2022, but injury prevented from making a league appearance, and he was released in January. His father is former Premier League goalkeeper and Finnish international Jussi Jaaskelainen.
