Club Statement

Support the boys today and represent our club and community with respect

As we come to the last two games of the season, the Club would like to thank the fans for their support of the team and management in what has been a challenging season.

As we focus on our fixture away to York City today, the club would like to remind fans that behaviour when at home or travelling away supporting the team reflects on the reputation and values of the football club and our community.

Unfortunately, in the last few weeks there have been several incidents surrounding our home games against Kidderminster and Eastleigh and our away fixture at Southend where a small minority of the fan base have displayed anti-social behaviour that has placed a negative spotlight on the reputation of the Club. As a result of the incidents at Southend United, the Club has acted in conjunction with the authorities to implement several home stadium bans for a number of those people directly involved.

In the best interests of football and Woking Football Club, the Club would like to reiterate that, when necessary and with the close cooperation of stewards and the authorities, it will act strongly against any acts of anti-social behaviour, disrespect and disorder.

Enjoy this afternoon, in what will undoubtedly be another exciting match in our run-in to the end of the season.

Come on you Cards!
