Woking Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of Jayden Luker.
The 18-year-old attacking midfielder joins the Cards until the end of the season on loan from Luton Town.
Born in Peckham, Luker played most of his youth football for Peckham Tigers until summer 2022. Playing for ProDirect East London academy against Luton’s academy, Luker scored and impressed, leading to him being offered a trial at the Hatters.
After impressing in the Hatters academy and starting all three of Luton’s FA Youth Cup games in a run to the fifth round, Luker was included in the first team squad for Rob Edwards’ side’s FA Cup third round game against Wigan Athletic in January 2023, with Edwards praising the then 17-year-old’s work ethic and ability.
In November 2023, Luker signed a contract extension at the Hatters, with Edwards once again praising Luker’s attitude and physicality. The midfielder has been included in the Luton squad on five occasions, including four times in the Premier League.
