Woking Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of Paul Osew.
The 23-year-old joins following a spell as a free agent.
Osew enjoyed spells in the Brentford and AFC Wimbledon academies before making his professional debut for the Dons in August 2019, coming off the bench in a Carabao Cup First Round game against MK Dons. In October 2019, Osew scored his first professional goal in a 3-2 win over Rochdale.
He would solidify his place in the Wimbledon team in 2021/22, starting 32 games in total, before limited opportunities last season saw him make the switch to fellow League Two side Northampton Town in January, where he would play five times in total as the Cobblers won promotion to League One.
After leaving Northampton in the summer, Osew joins the Cards with 63 EFL games under his belt.
"I know the player well, watching him over the last few years," said Caretaker Manager Ian Dyer.
"He was in the Wimbledon team a couple of years ago and was rated very highly, playing consistently at League One level. Maybe the last 18 months haven't worked for him as well as he'd probably have liked. He now finds himself with us training and we've been super impressed with him, his attitude, and what he brings.
"With the injuries to Dennon Lewis, Nana Boateng, Ricky Korboa, we needed to re-balance the squad a little bit in terms of attacking wide players to give us more options. He can play on the left or the right, he's quick, he's dynamic, and hopefully we can utilise his skills to help the squad."
