Woking Football Club is often described as a family football club and the saddest part of any family is losing those we love.
For the coming season, to provide clarity and consistency, the Club has designated two Saturday games when supporters who have recently passed away will be remembered.
The designated matches are:
9th September 2023 - Solihull Moors
16th March 2024 - Barnet
The remembrance will typically be through a minute’s applause before kick-off and a photograph and name of the loved one on the Club Scoreboard. There will also be a mention of the supporter in the digital matchday programme.
This service is open to all supporters and their families and there is no charge. To ask to be included in any of these acts of remembrance please contact media@wokingfc.co.uk.
