Woking Football Club can confirm that Sid Nelson has been loaned to Welling United.
The defender, 26, has completed a 28-day loan switch as he approaches the final stage of his rehabilitation following injuries.
"This to us is the final step of Sid's preparation for being a ready and available player from the start of games." said Manager Darren Sarll.
"The last stage is the most important, and without the capability of having too many reserve games planned in with our fixture schedule coming up, we thought it was important to get ahead of the Christmas period by getting Sid enough game time so he can come back in and compete for starting places.
"Sid has worked incredibly hard, as have the staff with him, to get to this point. This is now the final part in having a fully fit Sid Nelson, who is a massive asset to our football club." added Sarll.
Welling United, lead by manager Warren Feeney, compete in the Vanarama National League South. Nelson will first be eligible for their fixture away to table-toppers Ebbsfleet United on Saturday 22nd October.
