On Wednesday 24th, the first-team squad had the privilege of spending time with, and delivering meals to, the local community.

The initiative was supported by Woking Council, and saw the full squad visit three destinations in the surrounding area.

Cllr Debbie Harlow, Woking Borough Council’s Portfolio Holder for Living Well and Wellbeing Services, said: “Our residents and centre users have been looking forward to today and have loved meeting the players who were all so engaging and generous with their time.

"I’m very impressed with the way the team got stuck in and I’m grateful for their interest in the services we deliver to help people live well and live independently.

"Woking Football Club has done a fantastic job of lifting everyone’s spirits today and I encourage other community-minded organisations to consider volunteering at our centres. For opportunities please email volunteer@woking.gov.uk.”

We covered the day in the latest Cards Unseen episode, which can be seen here.
