Woking Football Club is recruiting for a Commercial Manager, reporting to the Board Director with responsibility for the Commercial Department. Having just been promoted back to the National League Premier we are currently going through an exciting transformation with possible new investment and a new strategy underway.
The successful applicant will head up our Commercial Department, marketing the Club to potential sponsors and maintaining the best relationship with our existing sponsors. Good negotiating skills are required when dealing with football kit and merchandise suppliers, selling the use of our premises, organising events and selling/hosting our lounge on match days whilst ensuring our hospitality is an enjoyable and worthwhile experience for all fans and visitors. A positive attitude and flexible working hours are required.
Ideally applicants will have at least 5 years’ experience in a sales and marketing role, preferably within a football or sports club environment.
