Woking Football Club have launched a survey asking supporters how we can improve their matchday experience at the new Woking Community Stadium.
The launch of the fans' survey follows the fans' forum held by Woking FC on the new stadium vision last week, which was attended by over 200 people. Fans can complete the online survey at
www.wokingcommunitystadium.co.uk, the dedicated new stadium website that went live last week.
Woking FC fans will also have the opportunity to discuss the new stadium proposals with club representatives and members of the project team this Saturday, 27th April, from 12pm-2pm before the home match against Gloucester City. Hard copies of the survey will be available for fans to take away, which can be returned by freepost.
Rosemary Johnson, Chairman of Woking Football Club, said: “The fans' forum last week was the beginning of our conversation with Woking FC fans about our vision for the Woking Community Stadium and the future of our club. The fans' survey is the next stage in this conversation and gives all supporters the chance to tell us what matters most to them about the club and what they hope to see at the new stadium. Feedback from the survey will assist the club and the project team in developing the new stadium plans. For example, information about how fans travel to games will give us vital insights that will help us to design the matchday transport management plan, and I would encourage all of our fans to participate.
This Saturday I will be available along with other club directors to discuss our exciting vision for the new Woking Community Stadium with supporters before the home game against Gloucester. Further meetings with supporters, local residents, groups and stakeholders will be arranged over the coming weeks and months to discuss the Woking Community Stadium and the wider Cardinal Court project as the proposals begin to take shape.
