I am currently ‘on the lookout’ for additional volunteers to produce reports on matches featuring Woking FC during the coming season – reports which will appear on the official website and in programmes for home games.
You may be an aspiring journalist, whether or not your focus is on sport, or you may just be a ‘hobby writer’. You will almost certainly have a reasonable command of the English language in written form, understand the finer points of the game of football and – ideally – follow Woking FC with a passion. If so, please get in touch.
There is no specific commitment in terms of the minimum number of games you would be expected to report on in a season. In putting together schedules for reporting, I can accommodate both those only able to cover a 2 or 3 games a season, or those prepared to report every few weeks.
At the time of writing, I have not identified a reporter for either of two Pre-season Friendlies:
a) Sutton United away, Saturday 14th July, 3:00 p.m.
b) Farnborough away, Tuesday 31st July, 7:45 p.m.
If you can help here – or want to put your name forward for one of the other PSFs listed on the official site – please get back to me asap.
