Woking Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Jack Cook.
Jack is a centre-back who started his career at Charlton Athletic where he spent 2 years. He then focussed on his studies but still playing football locally part-time. Whilst at Brighton University he played for Worthing, impressing in the 2016/17 season there. Last Summer he signed for Hampton & Richmond, forming a defensive partnership with Charlie Wassmer.
Dowse commented: "He's a big strong lad, quick, and not a bad footballer as well for a centre-half. Him & Wasser had the best defensive record in the league last year, just about. Massive signing, do we play 2 at the back, or 3 at the back, at least he gives us options, I'm delighted to get him."
