The Laithwaite Community Stadium

Woking Football Club is delighted to announce they will play at The Laithwaite Community Stadium this season after Laithwaite Financial Services Ltd, a local firm of Independent Financial Advisers, acquired the naming rights of Kingfield Stadium.

Last season Laithwaite Financial Services Ltd joined the Club as sponsors of the new look Geoff Chapple Lounge and have expanded their partnership even further for the forthcoming season by becoming the official ground sponsor.

Andrew Laithwaite (Managing Director) explained the reasoning behind the firm’s decision to initially join the Club (last season). “For many years I have been involved in youth football and when the opportunity to become a sponsor at the Club presented itself, I could see the benefit of a partnership with youth football and Woking Football Club.�

Subsequently, the Club has joined forces with the local Surrey Youth League and shared ideas which will benefit thousands of boys and girls who play football each week on the back of an introduction from Andrew Laithwaite.

The Woking-based firm of Independent Financial Advisers has been dispensing investment and pension advice since 2001. Andrew explained that the firm had decided to take the official naming rights of the Stadium for two key reasons; firstly because the Board of Directors and the commercial team have clearly demonstrated a desire to seek success at a higher level and the firm wanted to be part of that aspiration and, secondly, because this will raise the profile of the firm.

Renaming the ground to The Laithwaite Community Stadium represents a significant and very important change, which will put us on a stronger financial footing going forward and allow us to focus on giving our best performance on the pitch.

Laithwaite Financial Services Ltd is the first ground sponsor in Woking Football Club’s history. Andrew Laithwaite commented “We are privileged and it is a great honour to have been offered this opportunity by the Board of Directors. This sponsorship further cements our relationship with this football club that is so well respected and important to the local community.�
