Woking Football Club are delighted to announce that manager Garry Hill has won the Blue Square Bet South 'Manager of the Month' award for December, and defender Alan Inns (pictured) has won the 'Player of the Month' award.
Since coming to Woking in January, Garry's record has been nothing short of extraordinary. Under his management this season, the Cards have only lost one match in the league and remain unbeaten at home. In the past few weeks, they have played most of the top teams around them and taken 10 points out of 12. In December his side have picked up 13 points from a possible 15 with wins against Eastleigh, Sutton, Dartford and Farnborough. Additionally, the Cards are the league's top scorers and have the meanest defence, having only conceded 18 goals.
Woking have been unbeaten in the league since Alan's return to the side in October after he battled back from injury to become one of the best centre backs in the league. The Cards have conceded just 6 goals in the 10 matches he has played, and he's even chipped in with a couple of goals, including the opener at Dartford a few weeks back.
Everyone at the Club would like to send their congratulations to Garry and Alan for their very well deserved awards.
