Tarryn joined the Cards on the eve of the 2021/22 season after a successful trial period. He moved to the club from League Two side Crawley Town, where he made 53 appearances across a three-year stay, playing in both midfield and further forward as an attacking wide player. During his time at Broadfield Stadium he enjoyed a successful loan with Wealdstone, then playing alongside Woking in the National League South, and he scored one of his four goals for the club against the Cards at the Laithwaite Community Stadium during a 2-0 win in January 2019. Earlier in his career he played in the Isthmian League for Aveley, who he joined from Leyton Orient's academy, and Maldon & Tiptree. After a successful spell in non-league he was signed by Colchester United before joining Crawley in 2018.
