The midfielder joined Woking in the summer of 2023, returning eight years after a brief loan spell with the club in 2015, when he made five appearances. He arrived back at the Laithwaite Community Stadium from National League rivals Chesterfield, where he spent two-and-a-half injury-hit years.
He began his senior career with Brentford and made his professional debut for the then League One club in December 2011. During his time with the Bees he established himself with loan spells at Northampton and Aldershot, where he made more than 50 appearances across two seasons, helping the Shots steer clear of relegation. He finished the 2014/15 season on loan at Woking, who narrowly missed out on a play-off place, finishing in seventh place.
His impressive performances in the fifth tier earned him a permanent move from Brentford to Exeter City in League Two. After 12 months with the Grecians he signed permanently for the Shots and enjoyed the best season of his career in 2017/18, playing 44 times in all competitions, with the Hampshire-side finishing fifth and losing out in the play-offs on penalties.
From Aldershot he joined League Two side Port Vale, where he made 63 appearances in a two-and-a-half year spell which was sadly plagued by injuries, as was his time at his next club Chesterfield. He made just 41 appearances for the Spireites, most notably featuring in the club's run to the third round of the FA Cup in 2021/22, where he started the match against Premier League side Chelsea.
After missing all of the 2022/23 campaign through injury, he joined the Cards on trial, and impressed manager Darren Sarll enough to earn a contract. He bolsters an impressive Cards midfield also featuring former Aldershot teammate Jim Kellermann.
