Woking Football Club is excited to share opportunities for supporters to volunteer this summer and throughout 2023/24.
The Club is looking to build a pool of keen, reliable volunteers for numerous important tasks around the Laithwaite Community Stadium, both during the week and on matchdays.
The support of our fanbase is exceptional. Volunteering for the Club can provide opportunities to develop skills and experience, as well as meeting fellow Woking supporters and becoming an even bigger part of the upward-looking journey the Club is on.
Current tasks the Club is seeking voluntary support for:
- Painting around the Laithwaite Community Stadium during pre-season
- Tidying and maintenance of the Laithwaite Community Stadium grounds during pre-season (this could continue into the season)
- Administrative office support on matchdays, being a friendly face and helping other supporters with general enquiries
- Entrance support on matchdays, welcoming invited guests, officials and VIPs to the Laithwaite Community Stadium
- Flyer distribution, helping promote the Club in the local and regional areas in shop windows and community notice boards
- Club shop support, both in the week and on matchday
The Cards Trust are also always seeking more volunteers for the Goldrush, Player of the Month Voting, management of the 400 Club, and more.
