All at Woking Football Club were deeply saddened to hear of the passing away of Angela Potter on 14th December.
Angie was a devoted Woking supporter and shareholder who initially started supporting Woking in the 1950s, originally attending games with her father and brother Ron. She then attended games for decades with her late husband Dennis, taking on a number of voluntary roles over the years.
In more recent times Angie attended games not only with her son David but also grandchildren George & Eleanor, and was much loved by all who knew her at the Club.
Her love for Woking was clear to the end, hoping to make it to recent home games despite health challenges.
Angela’s family would like to thank all of her friends at the Club for their incredible support and friendship, most notably in the last three years as she privately battled cancer.
A lovely lady, who will be much missed. The Club’s thoughts and prayers are with Angela’s family and friends at this sad time.
