Club statement from Drew Volpe

I’m pleased to announce that a Purchase Agreement has now been signed with Cardinal Football Group LLC, a U.S-based company, controlled by Todd Johnson, to acquire a majority shareholding in Woking Football Club.

As per my last update, we are not quite done yet. There are still some steps that remain to conclude the transaction, including a general meeting of shareholders.

This transition represents an exciting next step in the history of Woking Football Club.

Whilst I will no longer be a majority shareholder, I will retain a stake in the Club and my support and passion for this great Club will remain unchanged.
