Ticket Sales & Entry
Due to the expected attendance of the Gillingham game this Saturday, the club have taken the decision to close the Seymours Community Stand for this fixture. All pre-purchased tickets will change to general admission, and allow access to the Jewson Family Stand, Moaners Corner or KRE, and all future tickets will be purchased as general admission for this fixture only. Gate 4 will be closed, so please ensure entrance to the ground is through gate 1 only. Away fans will enter the ground through gate 2 as normal, and be allocated the Chris Lane Terrace.

The Fan Zone, Kingfield Street and Cardinals Bar will be open to home fans. The Legends Bar, Moaners Corner and Seymours concession stands will be closed.

Opposition Watch
Gillingham’s finish of 12th in League Two last season was deemed unsatisfactory by the board, and thus former Spurs midfielder Stephen Clemence departed after just six months in charge.

Ambitious owners Brad and Shannon Galinson have decided to act on last season’s striker problems (Gillingham scored just 46 goals in the league) and incomings have included Crewe forward Elliott Nevitt and exciting Enfield Town striker Marcus Wylie, who was tracked by a host of clubs. The addition of former Woking midfielder Armani Little has also shown the Kent side’s intentions to add more to their midfield.

New manager Mark Bonner has experience in League Two promotions after his work at Cambridge saw them go up in 2020/21 on a rather modest budget, with funds available to improve the team should they be necessary. Needless to say this should be a good clash between two sides looking to improve on their goalscoring records from last season, and a perfect test for Michael Doyle before the National League season kicks off.
