A highlight of the 100th Birthday Party last Sunday was the presentation of the End of Season Awards.
In particular, the Club was pleased to present the first ever Andy Turner Award, to recognise the outstanding Club volunteer of the year. This award will be presented each year and the first, very deserving recipient was Bob Raikes who has done such a professional, creative and reliable job in producing the Club programme over recent years
John Katz, CEO, spoke before the awards and, in particular, thanked Simon Jones, his team and the volunteers for making the 100th Birthday party such an outstanding success.
The Awards were as follows:
Football Academy Awards – presented by Scott Harrison and Ian Dyer
Outstanding 1st Year Player – Ellis Osbourne
Outstanding 2nd Year Player – Sean Swift
