Join us on Sunday 8th May, 2022, to celebrate the Laithwaite Community Stadium’s 100th Birthday!
The stadium has been at the heart of the community for a century, seeing the likes of Chelsea and Everton in friendlies, Brighton, Coventry and Watford in the FA Cup, and has played host to the Cardinals, three-time FA Trophy winners. In its 100 years, it has also hosted carnivals, the Archbishop of Canterbury, and countless other community events.
In what is sure to be a fantastic family day out, the pitch is being taken over for one special event at the Laithwaite Community Stadium with:
- Eight giant inflatables (12:00-18:00)
- Local business market stalls (12:00-18:00)
- Five-a-side football tournament for under sevens and eights
- Children’s entertainers, face-painting & glitter artists
- Local beer and cider demos
- Birthday themed food and drink in the Fan Zone all day
- Meet members of the first-team and mascots throughout the day
- Live music from the afternoon onwards in the Cardinals Bar
More detail to follow, but be sure to get in quick and take advantage of our early bird discounts, with tickets just £5 per person, until Sunday March 27th, when you book online!
