Club Staff and Director Changes

Woking Football Club is delighted to welcome Steve Knight to the club as the new Commercial Manager with effect from Monday 2nd September.

Steve is a long standing fan with many years experience in sales and marketing and also has, until recently, served as a match day steward! The Club looks forward to benefitting from Steve’s passion and drive and wish him well in this new post.

In addition, there have recently been a number of key changes at the Club.

Steve is supported by Morgan Mclellan as Commercial Assistant, who started officially on 23rd August. Morgan will also provide general admin support to other areas of the club.

Dave Curtis is now employed as Operations Manager while Geoff Chapple continues as Football Secretary. As a result both Geoff and Dave have stood down as Club Directors but will continue to attend Board meetings regularly as required.

The current Board members (with their responsibilities) are now:

Rosemary Johnson - Chairman
Neill Morrison - Stadium Development Director
Sam Loxton - Commercial Director
Kelvin Reay - Football Liaison Director
Ian Nicholson - Community and Communications Director (elected by the Cards Trust to the Board)

Other key roles are:

Geoff Taylor - Company Secretary
Linda Taylor - Staff Welfare and HR
Peter Velati - Financial Controller

The Board of the Club welcome those new into their roles and thanks all staff and dozens of volunteers for their fantastic efforts in helping us move forward at this positive time.
