The Cards fought hard to earn three valuable points at Marston Road this afternoon.
For most of the game Woking looked the better side, with the defence once again looking particularly strong, but it wasn't until the end of the first half that Woking began to really threaten the Stafford goal.
In the 54th minute, just after Nick Gindre had made a vital save, the play immediately switched to the other end, as Bradley Quamina slotted a fine pass into the path of Marvin Morgan. Marvin raced on, leaving a couple of defenders in his wake, and coolly slotted a left-foot finish past the Rangers' keeper.
The victory was marred only by the sending-off of Matt Pattison towards the end. Matt, having been somewhat harshly booked earlier for a foul, stupidly kicked the ball away and was given his marching orders.
A full report from Andy Avery will follow.
