At today’s Board meeting, Woking FC Director Rosemary Johnson was elected as Chairman of Woking Football Club. Rosemary was Vice-Chairman of Woking Supporters Club, Chairman and founder member of the Trust and is a shareholder. Rosemary and her family have been supporters of WFC for over 40 years and they are season ticket holders.

In her professional life Rosemary works for the Citizens Advice Bureau supporting elderly and vulnerable people and the tribunal service dealing with complex disabled benefit issues. She was a borough councillor for 16 years being the Mayor for a year, managed a local housing association, is patron of LinkAble and was awarded the MBE for services to local disabled people.

On match days she is often to be found in the shop talking to fans and usually stands on the corner of the disabled area by the KRE.

Rosemary believes that the fans are the lifeblood of the club and looks forward to guiding the club forward to its next successful season.
