At yesterday's FA AGM the Burns Report was passed by shareholders, 78% in favour, 22 % against. This means that finally, as a competition, the Conference will have 2 FA Council Representatives.
There will also be a representative each from the Isthmian Northern Premier and Southern Leagues for the first time in non-league history. This is seen as another significant step in the right direction for the Conference and the Alliance.
The Conference also gained an observers place on Professional Game Board as well as hopefully representation on the National Game Board. This news comes as a result of a great deal of hard work over the years and none more so in the past 12 months.
