CHARITY BIKE RIDE EVENT 14TH SEPTEMBER 2008
My apologies for not acknowledging earlier your generous support by way of prizes and vouchers, but now that the event has taken place, I can thank you wholeheartedly.
For a ?first timer?, we were quite taken aback by the response both from the participants and the general public who attended the post event fund raising activities.
We had 135 riders who completed the course and there must have been over 400 people on the green in front of the The Cricketers enjoying the entertainment in welcome sunshine.
Most importantly, we estimate we will have raised about ?15,000 for the Woking Hospice, and it is very much thanks to your contributions that have made this possible.

Inspired by the success of this inaugural event, we are already planning for 2009, - bigger and better, I am told by our enthusiastic team -and I hope you will not think me too presumptuous if next year I come knocking at your door for continued support.
