Woking Football Club is keen to show their support for a local initiative being run by Woking Funeral Service. After one of their staff visited a remote village of Ghana he met children who were football mad but noticed that the children were playing on rough ground with bare feet. He decided to try and collect as many pair of boots as possible to send out to Ghana to be distributed to the children.
We know "new term" often means "new boots" so this is a great time to collect up all the old ones. If you have any pairs of old boots or clean socks that you are willing to donate to this good cause, please drop them in directly to Woking Funeral Service by the end of September or to the Club Shop and we will pass them on.
