Following the death of their much-loved Chairman Alan Boon, Staines Town have announced a celebration day to commemorate his 40 years of service to the Swans, non-league football, and the community.
Alan was very highly regarded throughout the football world and was much-loved by everyone, and was also very fond of Woking Football Club.
To coincide with Staines Town's celebration day, Woking Football Club will show its respects and pay tribute to Alan, by holding a minute's silence before Saturday's game at home against Boreham Wood.
