Off to Cherrywood Road!

3:16pm, Sat 7th May 2011
Farnborough vs Woking
Blue Square Bet South Play-Off Semi Final 2nd Leg
3pm on Sunday 8th May 2011

Cards fans are expected to travel en masse to Cherrywood Road tomorrow to cheer on their side to overcome the single goal deficit from the 1st Leg of this Play-Off Semi Final. On Wednesday Farnborough were the visitors to Kingfield, Gary Holloway's 2nd half goal giving his side the advantage at the half-way stage of what proved to be a very close encounter between the two sides.
The winner will face either Ebbsfleet or Chelmsford in the final next Sunday.
The whole of the terrace behind the goal has been allocated for Woking fans this time, along with a section of seats in the East Stand.

WOKING

It's highly likely that Garry Hill's squad for this game will be very similar to the first match, Michael Doughty will be pushing for a starting place now he's recovered from a virus he picked up whilst on international duty.

FARNBOROUGH

Steve King's side picked up a few injuries on Wednesday night, Kezie Ibe, Gary Holloway and Jay Conroy all having to be substituted. However it would appear that danger-man left winger Dale Binns will be fit to face the Cards after failing a late fitness test before the 1st Leg.

By coach
The Supporters' Club coach leaves Kingfield at 1pm and costs £10 for members and £15 for non-members.

By road
The directions given on the Farnborough website are as follows. Head for the M3. Leave at Junction 4 and take the A331 signposted to Farnham. After a few hundred yards exit at the second slip road - signposted A325 Farnborough - turn right at the roundabout and cross over the dual carriageway and a small roundabout. Pass the Farnborough Gate shopping centre on your left and at the next roundabout turn left onto the A325. Go over a pelican crossing and at the next set of lights take the right filter into Prospect Avenue. At the end of this road turn right at the roundabout into Cherrywood Road. The ground is half a mile on the right.

Farnborough FC say that there is ample parking at Cherrywood Road, and the cost to park at the ground is £3, which includes an official matchday programme in the price. Programmes will cost £2.50 inside the Stadium. There is also a free car park at the nearby Farnborough 6th Form College, which is just five minutes’ walk from the ground, and is said to be much easier in terms of congestion in and around the ground.

By rail
The ground is about a 25-30 minute walk from Farnborough Main station. Trains from Woking to Farnborough Main leave at 46 minutes past the hour and take 12 minutes to get there. Trains back are at 08 and 38 minutes past the hour. Leave from the station approach and turn right onto Union Street i.e. with the railway line on your right. After half a mile turn right at the traffic lights onto Prospect Road, go under the railway bridge and follow this road over two mini roundabouts and a real one (where it becomes Cherrywood Road). The ground is half a mile beyond the third roundabout.

MATCH DETAILS

The game will be segregated, with Woking fans getting the MRE terrace and a small section of seats in the East Stand.
Ticket prices are £12 for adults, £8 for concessions, and £2 for children under 16.
