Easter Family Fun Day

A BUMPER crowd full of youngsters are expected at Kingfield on Easter Monday when Woking FC operate a KIDS GO FREE policy for the final home game against Weston-Super-Mare. (3pm)

In what is the club’s final scheduled home league game of the season (barring the play-offs) anyone under 16 will be let in for free on the day and a number of activities will be in place to make it a family friendly atmosphere.

Every junior coming through the gates will get a free caramel mini egg upon entry and the chance to take part in a balloon race which will be released on the day. There will be prizes for the longest travelling balloon.

All the schools in the area have been notified in order to help us get a bumper crowd with the kids encouraged to bring mum and dad along too!

The game is being sponsored in memory of the late Phil Ledger by his long term partner Angela Norman who is bringing along a group of friends to the Geoff Chapple Suite. They will be joined in the lounge by the Platinum members.

The bar will be open from 12 noon with a special promotion both before and after the Woking match. From 12pm until 1.30pm ALL DRAUGHT beers will be £2 a pint which gives you a bargain on Fosters, London Pride bitter and Guinness.

There will be sport on the big screen from 12 noon and fish and chips available from Seafare or the burger bar inside the ground which you can bring back inside.

After the Woking v Weston Super Mare main event, the Woking FC raffle will be drawn in the main bar at 5.30pm where one lucky winner will get his or her hands on a £1000 top prize.

Before the draw is made any remaining tickets will be able to be snapped up and remember apart from the £1000 jackpot, there are 50 other great prizes!
Also on Easter Monday, our Goldrush sellers will be around the ground giving you the opportunity to win on our match day draw plus there will be Guess The Goal Time scratch cards available to purchase.

Easter Monday is another opportunity to sign up for The Cards Trust’s Boost the Budget scheme. This is a really important initiative which is designed to enable ordinary fans to boost the playing budget next season. So sign on the line and help Boost The Budget for next season.

Why not bring a friend along on Monday, someone who does not normally come to Kingfield or maybe someone who has not been this season – and let them bring their kids in for free!


This will swell the crowd and bring in much-wanted revenue through the gates and increase the noise and atmosphere.
