LEGENDARY football commentator Martin Tyler will be the guest host later this month at the first of Woking FC’s 20 year celebration events following their FA Cup win over West Bromwich Albion.
“Bring On The Baggies� will see an evening of fun and banter with both players and manager reliving the day in January 1991 when Isthmian League Woking sent West Bromwich Albion crashing out of the cup.
Hat-trick hero Tim Buzaglo and manager Geoff Chapple are the first names to sign up with other team mates set to follow.
The night on Friday January 28th will give everyone a chance to view unseen footage and to reminisce and celebrate one of the greatest days in the club’s history.
On the night, there will also be the chance to win some memorabilia at an auction and raffle.
Tickets which include food provided by Seafare are only £5 and are available at the club during office hours or can be obtained from sellers. Tickets can also be bought on-line via the
club shop.
The doors will open at 7pm with a 7.45pm start and drinks will be £2 a pint from 7pm until 9pm, with normal match day prices afterwards and a bar till late.
