Ali has been inspired by a class mate, who has Leukaemia, to donate his hair to make a wig for a child suffering hair loss. The sponsored haircut will take place before the match this Saturday at 2pm in the Cardinals Bar and will raise money for the Royal Marsden Children’s Appeal.
Patrick Peja from Toni & Guy will put Ali’s hair in to a ponytail and cut 10 inches off. The hair will be sent to Little Angel’s who are a charity who make wigs for children. Many children lose their hair due to the treatment for cancer and Ali feels his hair “might make some child feel a little bit better�.
Ali has been one of Woking’s soccer school kids since he was small (if you look on the
Soccer School page on the website you will see him in a blue England kit with short hair).
