To maximise the financial income so urgently needed by the Club, it has been agreed that we need new blood and new ideas.
Geoff Chapple has proposed that we put in place a new commercial manager to build on the work he has started, with a focus on increasing revenue throughout the week. The Board have agreed with Geoff’s proposal, and have asked him to be part of the recruitment process, and to continue at the club in assisting the new appointment, along with Debbie Jackson.
Geoff will continue as host in the sponsors lounge, supported by Sarah Draper and David Bird.
In addition, the Board are recognising the extraordinary contribution made by Geoff over so many years, by asking him to be the first official Ambassador for the club, a role he is delighted to accept.
