We’ve got another packed matchday programme for you tomorrow, including an update from Chairman Shahid Azeem
Some of the highlights include:
Pages 7-8 – Club Chairman Shahid Azeem on important talks with owner Chris Ingram:
“As you will be aware, Chris Ingram has stepped back from his financial support of, and involvement in, the Football Club. He will, in effect, become our landlord at Kingfield, and meetings on the new relationship have been ongoing throughout the summer. These meetings are progressing well…..”
Page 21 – Lewis Hulatt profiles Aswad Thomas.
Pages 24-25 – Double-page photo of Aswad with space for an autograph.
Page 29 – The Ranter returns and finds plenty to target in the Thierry Henry handball saga:
“Hands up or I’ll shoot!
Or “Hands up and I’ll shoot” so says Thierry Henry! Despite being a fitting heir to Ian Wright’s title of “Top Gun” at Arsenal, he has really let himself down. One of the best forwards to grace English football for the last decade, Henry does a Diego and gives himself a helping hand.”
Pages 32-33 – Brian Caffarey reports on the Youth Team’s tremendous performance at The Valley, with reaction too from the side’s Manager, Matt Howard.
Pages 36-37 – KC Kat decides to ignore any thought of diets and recommends his recipe for Mars Bar crispy cakes!
And, of course, the rest of the programme is packed full with all the usual reports, previews, statistics and great photos. You can also learn a great deal about moles – the furry creatures under the ground, that is – from the main match sponsor, The Molesmith!
Support the Club and buy a copy! Only £2.50. You can order a copy from the Club Shop (01483 772470 or shop@wokingfc.co.uk ) if you can’t make it to the game.
