After the game Neil Lyne told me it had been ?a good, solid performance. There were missed opportunities but we showed good team spirit which bodes well for the games coming up. We want to win and win well but at the end of the day, in any game, three points is all that matters. We were pleased with the performance in the first period, second period we knew what would be thrown at us so it was a matter of not conceding and trying to score another goal, which I think we should have done. The support today was fantastic, just what we want.?

I also spoke to Paul Lorraine. He said ?a number of players could have been MOTM today. We defended really well and Oli took his goal really well. I?m very pleased.? I asked if we could have won by a bit more. ?I think we had some very good chances, I lost count how many and it would have been nice to score more goals but we?re pleased to get the win. Points were the only thing that mattered today. We would have won ugly, we would have won by four as long as we got the three points. That was the main thing and we?re happy.?

Thanks to Neil and Paul.
