The Board fully recognises the financial pressures fans currently face and appreciates the commitment all fans make to the Club, be that through buying shares, attending games, volunteering their time or merely keeping in touch. The Club, of course, is also facing challenging financial pressures and the Board is committed to pursuing all possible ways of providing the Manager with a competitive playing budget. The share offer forms an important part of those efforts.
Recognising that Christmas/New Year is a particularly difficult time financially, the Board decided to extend the share offer deadline till the end of January to give those fans who hadn?t applied for shares a chance to reconsider their position. The minimum commitment is ?100 for ten shares, with a monthly capital contribution thereafter of only ?32 a year or ?2.67 a month ? less than the price of a pint! And the more shares you buy, the greater the benefits you obtain.
