Woking Football in the Community held their first Year 3/4 & 5/6 Girls' Football Tournament on Friday 16th May in Woking Park.
Nineteen teams took part, representing eleven local schools. All league games were closely contested with the following teams reaching the Semi-Finals:
Year 3/4 West Byfleet,St Dunstans,Barnsbury & Goldsworth
Year 5/6 West Byfleet ,St Bedes,Barnsbury & Horsell.
The Year 3/4 Final was between West Byfleet and Barnsbury and saw West Byfleet triumph with a 2-0 win.
The Year 5/6 Final was also between West Byfleet and Barnsbury. This was a closely-fought end-to-end final with the game going in to extra time and West Byfleet winning with a great golden goal.
