Here is an update on what's happening at Kingfield during the next few months.

May

New Manager
Interviews for Manager

First Interviews will be held Wednesday 14th ? Friday 16th May ? 12 candidates will be interviewed
Second Interviews will be held Wednesday 28th and Friday 29th May ? interview up to six candidates, and any assistants they would bring with them

Interviewing will be Chris Ingram, Colin Lippiatt and David Taylor ? we will have an HR professional who is a volunteer to follow up on all references
The final decision will be made at a full meeting of The Board

We plan to make an announcement of the successful candidate w/c 1st June, however if we need to take longer to identify the right candidate, we will. More information on any announcement will be made w/c Monday 26h May

Running the Team
Much has to be done in the close season ? renewing contracts, continuing discussions on friendly matches and dealing with offers for players from other clubs to name but three.

The Board have asked Colin Lippiatt to do this until we recruit a new manager. While it was not planned to offer any new players a contract during this period, Colin, David and the Board decided to offer one, to Manny Williams, because if we had not, we would have lost the opportunity.
We are watching other players: decisions will be made only after the appointment of the new manager.

June
New Manager and Open Days
Aside from the announcement, we will be holding two open days in June, inviting supporters to the club, for a behind the scenes tour, to meet and ask questions of the new manager, the Chairman and others. The new manager will add new players to the existing squad

The Pitch
We will be carrying out major work on the pitch (starting Monday 12th May and completing 30th June)

Friendlies
Will be finalised and announced

July
The Team starts training
on Monday 7th July

Major Announcements
In July we will make a series of announcements about our plan to achieve promotion to the Football League in three years.
We have 15 Projects on which achieving our ambition depends.

Friendly matches begin

August
The new season begins

The first Open Forum will take place in early September

We will update the above with relevant information on a regular basis.
