Tahvon joined the Cards in the summer of 2021 after a short trial period. An exciting winger with close to 100 Football League appearances to his name, he joined the club from League Two champions Cheltenham Town, although he spent the entirety of the Robins championship winning season out on loan - starting the campaign with National League North side Gloucester City, for whom he scored 5 goals in 7 appearances, before spending the second-half of the season with National League play-off chasers FC Halifax Town, where he scored once in 11 appearances - the winner in a 2-1 away victory at Notts County. He was also a late substitute in the 1-0 victory over Woking in April.
The Birmingham-born forward started his career with West Bromwich Albion, graduating from the club's youth academy in 2015, although he failed to make a first-team appearance for the Baggies. Instead he enjoyed several loan spells at either National League or League Two level, playing for Kidderminster Harriers, Yeovil Town, Notts County, Solihull Moors and Forest Green Rovers, signing permanently for Rovers in 2018. He scored 7 goals in 38 appearances for FGR and moved up a league on loan to play for Gillingham during the second-half of the 2018/19 season. From there he moved to Cheltenham, playing 15 times, before settling at the Laithwaite Community Stadium.
