Woking bolstered their defensive options with the signing of the former Millwall, Tranmere Rovers, and Northampton Town centre-back in July 2022, following his release by the Cobblers. He joined the Cards having made over 100 Football League appearances in his career, which included being part of the Tranmere side promoted to League One in 2019.
He began his career at boyhood club Millwall, graduating after a decade in the club’s academy in 2014, and making 14 appearances in the Championship in his debut season – earning rave reviews from manager Ian Holloway. He played 38 times in all competitions for the Lions, where he remained until 2019, before joining Tranmere.
During his time at the Den he enjoyed loan spells at a succession of League Two clubs: Newport County, Yeovil Town, Chesterfield, Swindon Town, and Tranmere, whom he subsequently joined permanently. He notably helped Newport avoid relegation to the National League in 2017, before returning to haunt his former club in the play-off final at Wembley, which his Tranmere side won 1-0 after extra time.
He spent two more years at Prenton Park before joining Northampton last summer, but after suffering a serious injury in training that September, he was restricted to just four appearances in all competitions.
