A left-sided centre half with a cultured left foot, Harries came through the Coventry City academy, making 17 appearances for the club before being snapped up by then-Premier League side Swansea City in 2017. A loan move to Eredivisie side Fortuna Sittard was followed by a permanent move to Bristol Rovers in 2019.
Across three seasons at Rovers, Harries made 56 appearances, departing in 2022 to join Swindon Town. He found game time limited at Swindon, making just seven appearances for the club.
Harries then joined Aldershot last summer, making 48 appearances and scoring eight times from the penalty spot. Despite being offered new terms, he chose to depart and joined the Cards in Summer 2024.
