A Northern Ireland under-21 international, Gorman moved to England from the Republic of Ireland when he joined Stevenage in 2013, making his debut two seasons later. He made 71 appearances for the club across three seasons before joining then-National League side Leyton Orient in June 2018.
Gorman made 45 appearances across two seasons, including 22 in the 2018-/19 National League season as Orient were promoted as champions, before a move to Northern Irish side Glentoran in 2020. After one season, he returned to the National League, joining Yeovil Town.
In 2022, Gorman joined Barnet and impressed across the last two seasons, making 87 appearances as the Bees finished 5th and then 2nd. He was also given the captaincy in 2022 and retained it until he left the club.
He joined Woking in May 2024, being made club captain in pre-season.
