Enterprise National League
Saturday 13th September 2025
12:30 Kick-Off
Woking will hope to build on a good run of form when they travel to Huish Park to take on a currently managerless Yeovil Town.
Mark Cooper was relieved of his duties at the end of August following a remarkable 4-3 defeat to Gateshead where the Glovers were 3-0 up at half time. Meanwhile, Neal Ardley’s side will be on a massive high after their 5-0 demolition of the Heed on Saturday, with the margin of victory their biggest in the league since 2014.
Ardley has options should he wish to change the side, with the likes of Chin Okoli, Jake Forster-Caskey, Matt Ward and of course Josh Osude, who netted his first two goals for the Cards at the weekend, all hoping to break into the starting eleven.
Opposition Watch
Pressure on Mark Cooper had risen after a poor end to last season saw the Glovers’ faint playoff hopes go up in flames as they limped to an 18th placed finish, with supporters criticising his tactics and player turnover.
It was perhaps unsurprising that the club parted ways with the man who got them promoted from the NLS as champions after picking up four points from five games, after yet another huge player turnover this summer.
There is an ex-Woking contingent of Tahvon Campbell, James Daly and Junior Morias, with Morias having scored three times in eight games, whilst supposed marquee signing Daly is out with an injury which he suffered in the second game of the season.
Since Cooper departed, the Glovers have picked up a win at Solihull either side of defeats at Halifax and at home to York, so this is a fixture the Cards will be eyeing up as an opportunity to gain more ground on those above them.
