Woking vs Truro City
Enterprise National League
Saturday 4th October 2025
15:00 Kick-Off
Woking aim to secure back-to-back wins for the first time this season when they host newly promoted Truro City.
Tuesday night’s 3-0 win at Solihull following an outstanding second half performance saw both Olly Sanderson and Josh Kelly on the scoresheet, and Neal Ardley will have a dilemma as to who starts against Truro.
With this being the last game before the Cards’ FA Cup campaign starts next weekend, it’s a chance for Woking to build some momentum and climb up the table, so come down to the Laithwaite and cheer the Cards on.
Opposition Watch
Surprise National League South champions Truro City are at their highest ever level, and are understandably struggling to adapt to national football against mostly professional teams. Two wins, both at home against Boston and Morecambe, have seen them score eight across those games and concede none, which makes for unpleasant reading considering they’ve scored eleven in total and picked up seven points thus far, with their only other result a 2-2 draw at home to nine man Aldershot Town.
Still, in John Askey Truro have a vastly experienced manager at the helm, and he will know there’s a long, long way to go yet. The Tinners kept the majority of their title winning squad, but injuries leave them short up front at the moment, with serial goalscorer Tyler Harvey the biggest name of the casualties.
It is well documented that Truro have the longest away days of any team in the division. Remarkably, this is one of their ‘shortest’ trips as they will hope to pick up their first away point after six straight defeats.

One to Watch
Luke Jephcott’s first full season in football saw him score 18 goals for Plymouth Argyle in 2020/21 as a 21 year old. It hasn’t quite gone to plan for him since then, with a fruitless spell at Newport, but six goals last season on loan saw Truro sign him permanently, and he’s netted four times in all competitions thus far.
