Tamworth vs Woking
Enterprise National League
Saturday 8th November 2025
15:00 Kick-Off
Woking will hope to build on an excellent performance in midweek when they travel to the Altair Group Community Stadium to face Tamworth.
After Neal Ardley confirmed that Timmy Akinola had a dead leg and Olly Sanderson had a cut on his forehead when many suspected worse for both, they could both be in contention for the squad as Woking seem to have found a settled side.
A win in Staffordshire would make it back-to-back-to-back away wins for the first time in Ardley’s tenure, but Tamworth is as tough a trip as any.
Opposition Watch
Tamworth were very much considered a good home side and a poor side on the road last season, but Andy Peaks’ men have picked up one more point on the road than at home this season in the same number of games.
Currently sitting seven points above the Cards in tenth place, a ten game unbeaten run in all competitions was ended by Boston United last time in the league, whilst a spirited showing against League One side Leyton Orient in the FA Cup on Monday ended in a 1-0 defeat.
With their next six games after this all being against teams in the top seven, Andy Peaks will mark this game down as a chance to get back to winning ways, in a fixture where the Lambs took four points from two meetings with the Cards last season.
Their 3G pitch will make things extremely difficult for the Cards as well as Tom Tonks’ long throw which is a huge threat. Dan Creaney should make his first league appearance since rejoining Tamworth on loan from Solihull Moors; the big striker scored 19 league goals last season.

One to Watch
Beck Ray Enoru gave Spurs a scare at the start of the year, and the 23-year-old has three goals so far this season including an excellent injury time winner at Aldershot Town.
