Woking vs Rochdale

Enterprise National League

Saturday 25th October 2025

15:00 Kick-Off

Woking host table toppers Rochdale hoping to make it three wins on the bounce in all competitions.

Last Saturday’s 3-1 away win over Altrincham lifted the mood in the Woking camp sufficiently to back it up with an impressive 2-0 win over Fulham U21s despite the Cards being reduced to ten.

Ashley Boatswain will serve no suspension and will hope to build on his first league goal last time out, whilst Josh Osude goes into the second of his three games suspended and therefore misses this one. Jack Turner has two in two since his move to an advanced midfield position, and Josh Kelly’s all round performance at Altrincham was excellent.

More will be needed, however, against a side who’ve lost just twice all season, once at home and once away, with Dale top of the pile by a singular point but having two games in hand on second placed Boreham Wood, with 11 wins from 13 games conceding only seven in the process.

Opposition Watch

After this fixture, Woking would have faced all of the current top six, with seventh placed Southend their next challenge after this, and they come up against a side with a strong ex Woking contingent.

Dan Moss will of course need no introduction, the popular defender chose to move closer to home in the summer having spent three seasons and made 122 appearances for the Cards, whilst Tarryn Allarakhia is still flying high with Jim McNulty’s side having impressed last season.

Kevin Berkoe recently joined on loan from Salford, with fond memories of his stint at the Laithwaite where he scored three goals in eight games from wing back. However, he hasn’t featured since Dale crashed out of the FA Cup at home to York.

Dale didn’t change much in the summer, aside from Moss, midfielder Casey Pettit joined after an impressive stint at Maidenhead, whilst undoubtedly their best signing came in the form of a prolific goalscorer, more on that later.

One to Watch

After Rochdale chose to release Kairo Mitchell, who netted 33 in 87 over two seasons, they needed a striker to partner Devante Rodney, who despite scoring 19 last season has a questionable injury record.

Enter Mani Dieseruvwe, the bane of a match reporter’s life but a very big goal threat, who came off the back of 42 in 90 for a mediocre Hartlepool side, and has 11 in 12 league games to currently hold joint top scorer status.
