Over the past week, Woking Football Club has been on three visits to schools in the local area. Bishop David Brown Secondary School, St Paul’s Church of England Primary School and Goldsworth Primary School.

The visits started off with Sam Ashford and Dale Gorman hosting an assembly at BDB, talking through their respective careers and the challenges that they’ve faced over the years.

Matt Ward and Jamie Andrews then made the trip to St Paul’s, to continue the conversation of what it’s like to be a professional footballer and the hard work and sacrifice you have to make, to be able to achieve your dream.

Finally, Joshua Osude and Timmy Akinola visited Goldsworth Primary School to offer invaluable pieces of advice to the young children on working hard in school and making sure they stay focused on what teachers ask of the children.

In partnership with club sponsor Seymours, 500 complimentary tickets were provided for our Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round Qualifier against Brackley Town. 250 tickets have been given out for our Enterprise National League fixture against Rochdale AFC on Saturday, 25th October. We hope to see as many of you there!
