Woking round off their pre season preparations with the visit of a Bournemouth XI to the Laithwaite.

Following Tuesday night’s entertaining 3-2 defeat against a strong Fulham U21s side, Neal Ardley’s men will hope to put in a solid performance with the visit of Carlisle just a week away. There should be competition for places after both games last week effectively worked as 90 minutes each for a host of players, whilst the only notable absentees will be Will Jaaskelainen and Dale Gorman.

Opposition Watch

The Bournemouth development squad will likely consist of a mix of the side that were Professional Development League winners last season, as well as some younger academy players. Several players have either been in and around the first team squad or out on loan, mostly at clubs such as Weymouth or Poole Town, whilst they have recently been to Spain on a training camp.

An emphatic 8-0 win over Real Murcia B will ensure plenty of confidence ahead of their trip to the Laithwaite, with Dominic Sadi and Balraj Landa both starring after netting a hat trick each. Other pre season results include a narrow defeat to Eastleigh and a 6-1 thumping of local side Bashley,
