Woking FC confirms that it plans to sign keeper Lennie Pidgeley on a month?s loan later this week.
Pidgeley, 24, started his career at
Chelsea
before spending most of the 2003-04 season on loan at
Watford
.
He returned to
Chelsea
but had a brief loan spell at Millwall before signing permanently for the Lions in June 2006.
He has made over 50 appearances for Millwall.
Woking Head Coach, Kim Grant, says: ?I think that Lennie?s greater experience will be helpful to us at this stage.
Both of our current keepers, Ross Worner and Nick Gindre, are young and inexperienced.
Ross has played really well in our opening games but, with three defeats, I think it would be good for him to have the pressure lifted for a bit.?
