Smudger has arranged a great line-up for his benefit match on Saturday, with a very attractive mix of former stars of the national game and Woking legends. We can expect to see Peter Beardsley, Ray Wilkins, Dave Beasant, Martin Allen and Paul Walsh. The former Woking contingent includes Kevan Brown, Scott Steele, Lloyd Wye, Chris Sharpling, Ian Selley, Dean Austin, Stuart Nethercott, Scott Canham and Amos Foyewa. Glenn Cockerill and Matt Crossley will be returning to Kingfield, and Academy Director, Graham Baker, will put his boots on again.
Neil has said that he will be donating 10% of the proceeds to Woking Hospice, in memory of his mother who was looked after in a hospice in Kent before she died.
So, come along on Saturday afternoon and show your appreciation for a great Woking player, donating to two good causes in one go!
Admission is ?10 for adults and ?5 for concessions. All the expanded and improved catering outlets will be open and you can buy the new Woking kits in the Club Shops.
